Passiflora edulis f. edulis. Purple Passion Fruit has antispasmodic, calming, and hypotensive properties. As it ripens, it turns purple, and its diameter is 6 to 8 cm. The juice of its fruit has properties that helps to lower blood pressure, antispasmodic, tranquilizing and helps to control tension.
